About TechExpo
In April of 2007, at an OIT/ASTS Council meeting, the idea was raised to host an IT event at Duke. The discussion led to the creation of Duke TechExpo. The aim was to bring together IT professionals from organizations throughout Duke to share ideas and experiences, put faces with names, learn from each other, and have a good time. The original intent was to make TechExpo a recurring event, increasing in scope over the years, and growing to possibly include participation by other universities. The idea was approved, funds were allocated, and the project shot forward with light speed.
