About TechExpo 2007
Origins
In April of 2007, at an OIT/ASTS Council the topic came up of hosting an IT event at Duke. The discussion led to the inception of Duke TechExpo. Our aim is to bring together IT professionals from all organizations within Duke and Duke Health System to share ideas and experiences, put faces with names, learn from each other, and have a good time.
In addition, the intention is that, in the future, TechExpo could be a recurring event, increasing in scope and widening to include other universities.
The idea was approved and sponsored by IT@Duke and the project shot forward with light speed.
